Associate Lecturer in Horticulture
Are you passionate about horticulture and keen to inspire the next generation of growers, gardeners and hobbyists?
Brinsbury College is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Associate Lecturer to deliver RHS qualifications, helping adult learners develop the specialist horticultural knowledge and practical skills required for success within the horticulture sector, as a career or as a hobby.
Working within our highly regarded Horticulture department, you will teach exclusively on Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Programmes, delivering engaging lessons that bring horticultural to life.
As our Associate Lecturer in Horticulture, you will be:
• Deliver high-quality teaching on RHS qualifications.
• Prepare engaging learning materials and assessment activities.
• Support learners to achieve excellent outcomes in RHS examinations and practical assessments.
• Link teaching to current horticultural practices, industry developments and emerging sustainability initiatives.

What you will bring to the role:
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Horticulture or a related subject.
• Strong horticultural industry knowledge and experience.
• A passion for sharing your expertise with learners.
• The ability to motivate and inspire students from a range of backgrounds.
• A teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one.
